The Cook is a key team member responsible for preparing high-quality vegan smash burgers, operating kitchen equipment such as griddles and deep fryers, and maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, pays close attention to detail, and ensures consistent, exceptional food quality while adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.

• Prepare and cook menu items, including vegan smash burgers and sides, following recipes and portion guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as griddles and deep fryers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation during service.
• Execute orders promptly while ensuring accuracy and presentation quality.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Assist with daily prep tasks, including stocking and setting up stations.
• Follow digital systems and processes to track inventory, manage orders, and ensure smooth kitchen workflow.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

• Previous experience as a cook in a fast-paced restaurant or food truck setting.
• Knowledge of preparing smash burgers and deep fryer operation.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining food quality standards.
• Strong comprehension skills and the ability to follow digital systems and processes.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills. 
• Reliable and punctual, with dependable transportation.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.

• Experience working in food service environments specializing in burgers or similar concepts.
• Proficiency with digital order management systems.
• Prior experience in vegan or plant-based cuisine is a plus but not required.
